txt.ure is a socially engaged collaborative project with a theoretical foundation in art history and industrial design methodologies that nourish from traditional knowledge. Our goal is to enrich the craft techniques we work with by reinterpreting objects. We understand txt.ure as a multidisciplinary and hybrid project, considering hybridity an inseparable quality of everything contemporary that fosters exchange and appropriation between different disciplines and standpoints. The inspiration for this project comes, precisely, from the free and dynamic exchange of concepts and tools between different areas of knowledge.
